Yes, the HCOO- would attach to the most cursed organic molecules in there. It makes sense to have both, square and round pegs.

You'll notice that it no longer hurts teeth. Tastes sunshiney, tropical and sweet. From harsh acidic juice that feels like it was angrily wrangled out of unripe fruit, instead you get the taste equivalent of that classic depiction of the sun with sunglasses, a smile and a thumbs up

Is the bdd electrode better than the standard wires coming out the swatter for making normal bw? No adverse reactions?
I'd get one to experiment with formate and wondering if I should also stop using that wire even if it only touches the water a tiny amount.

Need to find a way to connect the electrode to the wire while keeping things short too. So I can keep using my wand with one hand. Maybe some sort of alligator clip with no cable separating the ends. Just a double sided clip. Can cut the middle part of the cable of a normal one and tie the ends back together

DanuBabanu The BDD electrode is not a wire, it's a tiny little square (supposed to get one silicon based). I just used alligator clips and then dipped it in the bag of water.

I noticed when working with an old electrolysis setup using activated charcoal that applying it gave me the strong oily effect on the skin. Was I accidentally making HCOO- using the carbon from the charcoal? Either way the BDD method seems better since it doesn't have leftover charcoal, but it could be a simpler method to make it with supplies already on hand.

Yes, any carbon-based electrode does create HCOO- but it will also create a bunch of other things, like carbon monoxide. BDD will basically only make HCOO- iirc

GoldenDoogy no, it'll grow into more complex molecules pretty quickly. For a while, you can smell the butyrate as a transient stage. You'll get blessed transparent oil, like sebum from your skin, but way more charged.

Which is actually a Christian thing.. holy ointment..

I have a CO2 machine and have tried CO2 baths…can have benefits but the effects didn’t even come close to what I have experienced with formate. Only been 4 days so don’t want to overstate it but it feels very regenerative and gives me so much physical energy (almost too much as I can barely even sleep).

Bahama Both. Once a day i mix a drop or two with blessed water and OJ and then using 5-7 drops topically twice a day on different areas of body. If you drink it...seems to really flush your insides out.

Still only using 9 volt and charged it maybe 20-30 times.

juanfra This is interesting. I agree with the benefits of primarily using glucose over fats as a fuel source (ie., Ray Peat and others)...but so many of us are sitting in front of a computer screen all day and wonder if it's still optimal in that case. I use other red/white light devices while working to hopefully offset some of the damage from blue light but hard to know what's really happening.

Edit: maybe none of this matters when you are negatively charged.
